Test Your Cybersecurity Skills:
It’s Easy, and It’s Fun.

Test your skills in two of our advanced cybersecurity courses, to see if you have what it takes to be a cybersecurity defender. You’ll also be entered to win $4,000 in grants and prizes.

Steps to Follow

1. Launch a lab

Launch one of the labs below and follow the instructions to complete it. If you need a quick tutorial on how to use TestOut simulations, watch this video.

2. Find the answer

Each lab has a specific question about it, pay attention to it before you launch the lab. Look for the answer as you complete the lab.

3. Submit Your Answer

Once you find the answer, fill out the form on the right. You can submit all your answers at once by filling out the appropriate fields. Once you submit the form, you are entered into the drawing!

Prize Info:

You could win one of eight $250 Cash Grant donations. These winners will be announced every Friday, starting October 8th. On the last Friday, we’ll give out two $500 grants.

We’re also giving out $1,000 worth of prizes like Raspberry Pi Kits, Internet of Things kits or a pair of our famous TestOut socks and TestOut tool kits.

Rules and Eligibility

Must be an academic educator or trainer currently teaching for Cybersecurity or IT courses.
No purchase necessary.
Must not be related to a TestOut employee.
Must use a valid school or work email (.edu email address, for example).
Anyone sharing answers will not be eligible.
The prize recipient’s mailing address must be in the 50 United States, UT Territories, or Canada.
Winners will be announced on TestOut’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Winners must be able to accept corporate donations to their IT or Cybersecurity program. Please check with your program and institution policies before entering.
Winners have until November 12th, 2021 to claim their prize by responding to tedwards@testout.com.
