Mr.D is one of the most understanding and helpful teachers I have ever had in my life. He is always trying to help out each individual student based on that specific students needs. He is always willing to stay late after class, whether it be for other students to catch up on some work or to just talk about personal problems. I know without any doubt that if it wasn't for Mr.D, I wouldn't have made it through this class and began my journey to a better life.

Mr. Hudson would drop anything for his students. He sacrifices so much for his students.

His sense of humor, his storytelling, and his laid back attitude.

Mr. Hudson is a great teacher that teaches out of the goodness of his heart. He tells us useful information about education and how important it is to go to college and ready ourselves for a future career. He is dedicated and wants to give back to his community by educating students and getting them into good schools so they will be successful.

He helps out a lot and he shows us that we can do this all on our own or with groups.

Amazing teacher.

Mr. Hudson allows for his students to study as they see fit and is very lenient when it comes to what's important to the student vs what's important to the school. He stays up to date with the statistics of every student and tries to remain personal. He has worked at apple and teaches at two schools, one being a college. We're allowed to participate in group work without hassle. This includes doing real labs with real computers. He's a friendly and caring teacher that definitely deserves this award.

Mrs. McGill is an outstanding teacher. She is silly, but also has us determined to do her work. She makes doing work in her class easy for us because she explains it so well. She never gives up on us and when we need help, she makes us do it ourselves but explains it in a way we can still understand.

Mrs. McGill is very good at making sure all of us know what we are doing. If we're confused, she's always willing to help us. She is not only a great teacher she is also good with personal things also.

Mrs. McGill is an outstanding instructor based off her skills of communication, patience, and enthusiasm that she shares with the class. She aids many of her students that struggle with the programs wether is be Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access. Mrs. McGill tries to the best of her abilities to ensure a student comprehends the material and is comfortable with the process of getting an assignment done.

Mrs. McGill is very good with helping us in class and making sure that we are doing our work for her class. When we are stuck on something she makes sure to come to us and explain to us what we don't understand. She not only does that but also out of class she always has a smile on her face and never forgets to ask how you are and hope that you are doing well.

Mrs. McGill it's my favorite teacher at my high school, she's a really great teacher and everything that we do like our work she always helps us and i love her class.

Dr. Hany Othman is an amazing professor that cares about his students. He always tries to help them out the best way possible. He has over 12 years in higher education (teaching, administration, online education, and educational technologies). He has developed undergraduate, Master's, and Doctorate courses in, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information System, and Cybersecurity programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/E-Business, a Master's Degree of Science in "Information Resource Management", Doctorate in Computer Science- Digital System Security (Dissertation Topic- "Performance and acceptance of biometrics as an anti-cheating tool in an online test setting"), and Microsoft Certified System Engineer.

Great guy, very helpful and understanding.

I have literally never seen a teacher that cares about his students as much as Dr. Othman. He is always motivating us and pushing us beyond our limits. I would like to take this chance to sincerely thank him for all he has done.

He is straight forward and judges all students and their actions without bias. Above all else he encourages team building and hard work. I believe the best way to sum things up is with a motto he often uses "Never Settle For Less Than Your Best."

His constant push to making us better people. He tries his hardest to have us succeed and teaches us life lessons that we normally wouldn't get from other teachers in other classes.

He is attentive and flexible while still allowing and assisting us in learning as many computer topics as we can.

Mr. Regedanz has not only been a great instructor, but is a very big parental figure to most of us who do not have a father figure in our lives. He has touched the hearts of each and every class and will stop at nothing to help his students succeed. He has bought books for us and let us borrow his own, while incorporating life lessons into our course also.

Mr. Regedanz is an amazing teacher. He's always very patient with us and is willing to work with us when it comes down to schoolwork. We do PC pro our junior year and get to pick an elective. He gives us the entire school year to complete it and helps us set goals to achieve what we want when we want it. He has faith in all of us and encourages us to always do our best. He's a great motivator and I hope he can finally get the recognition he deserves.

He's always positive and motivating us to do better and try our best. Mr. Regedanz has always supported his students 100% and always wants us to be the best we can. He strives to make class fun while keeping us on track. He's helped students achieve what seems impossible. One of his students has achieved the feat of 9 certifications in one year, I think thats due to both Mr. Regedanz's dedication and the student's dedication to being the best we can.

She is a good teacher with good teaching skills. I have already took three classes with her and have made A in all three of them.

She is very responsive and always willing to help. She gives time for students to understand the material taught and helps them accomplish their goals.

Prof. Anderson is really good with her ways of teaching. She appreciate the enthusiasm of a student to learn more and is always helpful. Taking her classes was pretty great as her courses are easy to follow and she never misses anything on schedule.

Mr. Russell is an amazing teacher. He is patient with all those students that are new to the cyberspace, and at the same time he encourages each and everyone of us. He has gone above and beyond to help us all become certified and is currently working on giving us the opportunity to gain experience as apprentices. I want to recognize Dr. Thomas Russell for his selflessness and example of what a teacher/instructor should be. I have learned that he is a mentor not only for the Adult NCC class but for High School students. He is quite an inspiration!

Mr Russell is a very enthusiastic and encouraging instructor. He has provided a platform for several of us to have an opportunity to learn something new, brush up on existing skillsets, and challenge our thinking to achieve multiple certifications in our field. He has provided a chance to speak with existing cyber professionals to help us understand their lessons learned along their journey and specific career fields that we might consider working in. He involves all of the students in the discussions. We learn from one another, additionally he has given us helpful study tools on his website. He has looked out for all of us with regards to other opportunities to obtain a certification as well. Mr. Russell genuinely cares about our success and believes in our ability to achieve. Mr. Lincoln is an exceptionally hard worker and cares greatly for his students. He pushes his student's to new limits but doesn't pressure them. He has helped me, not just with my schooling but also my life as a whole and given guidance to help me be a greater person overall. I appreciate all he's done for me and if anyone deserves an award I believe it to be him without a doubt in my mind.

My teacher Mr. Lincoln has helped me thoroughly throughout my Junior and Senior year of high school. He always has a supportive aura around him and provides plenty of opportunities to challenge and push yourself academically. Not only does he help in this area, but with real world experience that will help getting exponentially. Skills like interviewing, job searching, job internships/shadows, resume help, cover letters, presentation skills, etc. This is why I think Mr. Lincoln should be nominated for Teacher Appreciation.

I have had Mr. Lincoln now for two years and he is an amazing guy. He really takes his time with the course and explains everything very well. He is a huge factor in why I want to go into the world of IT. I have also never had more fun with a teacher as we will always just go back and forth and joke around with each other.

Mr. Lincoln is a great teacher who really cares about his students. He is a very friendly guy who wants to see all of us succeed and he does his best to prepare us for our futures.

Cameron Ryan

He bases his classes a lot off of his students and offers help and walkthroughs on his assignments. He focuses on making his class fun with news stories and stories related to the assignments. Most importantly he watches for his students mental health and well being.

Mr. Ryan has been a growing source of inspiration for me to pursue a career in IT. He has an incredible passion for teaching and IT, which he shows to his students. It was because of his help that I have transformed from a complete beginner, to a more knowledgeable user. He has been the best teacher that I have ever had.

Mr. Ryan's classwork is fully performance based. Throughout the years, all the work I've completed for his classes are in the forms of labs. The labs help students understand more about the material by doing the work and asking what we've learned at the end of the year. Once the class is over, he asks for input to improve his labs for the next year, something I've seen him take very seriously. He is also one of the most human teachers I've had over the years. Once we've finished the work for the day, he won't move on to the next day's work. He'd rather take the time to make sure that *everyone* in the class understands the work and, if everyone is on the same page, have a conversation on whatever. Mr. Ryan is also the only teacher I've had in high school to remind the class to get enough sleep and to not work on his class over breaks.

Mr. Ryan is one of the best teachers I have had in my entire life! He incorporates problem based learning as well as TestOut and lecture into all of his classes for a balanced experience. Every student who takes his classes comes away with extreme knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and security. Since the world is in great need for great CS experts, Mr. Ryan sets up a clear path with his incredible labs and lets you find the way forward. With his guidance and mentor ship you can work through any problem and it really feels like you have discovered something new! Many teachers can not make their students feel as though they are the one discovering and learning but Mr. Ryan is incredible at it. I am so grateful to have taken your classes Mr. Ryan!

He's amazing and is hands down the best teacher I've ever had. He is so respectful.

Mr. Ryan is constantly updating his curriculum in addition to the constant innovation within all of his assignments. All of his assignments are lab like activities and all of them are hands on. Because of the time that he spends teaching the content, we spend time understanding all of the content, rather than just memorizing it. He always has a real life link to all of his problems, labs, and explanations. He uses these in addition to fun videos and interesting content about why we do things and how it makes things more secure and more effective than it would be otherwise. All of these traits in addition to his tireless effort and constant before and after school help make his class the most interesting and enjoyable class that I have ever had.

He works really hard to make the class fun and challenging for all the students.

Ryan is a shining example of what it means to be a chill teacher and teach something interesting that's hard. He can easily get the class together and teach after messing around for a bit. He often talks about useful skills and information that relates to the class.

Our teacher has done so much more to make sure in each of these classes that we do more than just TestOut, that we can actually experience the projects in real life. Even with the pandemic this year, he has found ways to bring computing labs to our homes.

They work hard with every student and do more than every other teacher in the school or that I have ever had.

He is such a friendly guy - in these intro classes he's always open to people making mistakes because it's all a lab environment and that's the best way for us to learn. I have a Bachelor's in Accounting and never had a professor as engaged with their students as Mark is. He makes me the course content so exciting and makes me feel vindicated in changing my career to pursue a career in IT.

Mark is a very patient and extremely knowledgeable instructor. Through the pandemic, Mark has gone the extra mile to find new ways to teach computer technology. He conducted labs while still adhering to social distancing standards. Computer technology changes rapidly, but he always seems to have the answers even to new changes. Even while attending zoom classes, he still makes everyone feel comfortable in the learning atmosphere. He always seems to be available, even on weekends. It is refreshing to have an instructor who goes the extra mile. (Very rare these days) Thank you, Mark, for all your extra effort you give every day.

Truly cares about students and their education; goes out of his way to find relevant and current news items relating to coursework. His enthusiasm to connect with students is heartwarming and very motivating. These may seem like the typical traits of a good teacher, but they are uncommonly well represented in Ray and his teaching.

He is a kind teacher who goes above and beyond to make sure that the class is all on the same page. He is passionate about what he teaches and is fair when it comes to coursework, especially in the pandemic.

This teacher is dedicated to the learning of the course more than to the advancement of the course. He teaches with passion and care, and will take his time to explain something difficult. Overall, one of the best teaching experience in the course.

Ray does an amazing job of teaching the course material. But moreover, he also engages the class in discussion about how the topics relate to the real world. He encourages questions and does not shy away from leading the class into a cumulative discussion where learning and discovery can take place naturally. He champions critical thinking over memorizing raw facts. He rewards the thought process as the metric of success, rather than a simple score on a test. I wish I had more teachers like him for other courses.

Ray is one of the best lecturer I've met. He has worked in the field of IT and always give us real world examples. It was our first time using LABSIM and he made it a great experience. He ensured that we did our labs and quizzes and made us well prepared to take the chapter exams. My confidence in Network Security has gone way up because of his classes.

This teacher has a fully comprehensive understanding of of Network Security, he always very enthusiastic during his lectures, and makes learning fun through engaging activities and active presentations. He is also very understanding and fair.

Truly dedicates his time to explain and makes it seem so easy and comprehendible. There were times I wanted to quit but he kept me motivated to keep going and complete one task at a time.

The community at CTA is great, but without Mr. Marish I would still be struggling by a long haul. With TestOut, it takes motivation and help from peers to get through the intense (but insightful) lessons. Though I may not be the best student for attendance and progress, it's never changed the way he's looked towards his disciples. I feel like I'd be a great example student, though I look forward not only to progressing in schooling, but knowing Mr. Marish has my back and these very isolated times can still be pushed past. It's never too late to start.

Mr. Devers is super awesome. He owns and runs a computer repair shop when he's not teaching. Whenever any of us students have any trouble with anything relating to the coursework, he's always there for us to help us understand it. He also gives us a real life scenario from his experience to help us remember and understand WHY something is correct or incorrect. He goes way beyond what's asked of him. He really cares and wants see everybody succeed. He does not know that we nominated him, but I think he would be very happy to win. He is the most deserving person I know.

He has taught me more than I thought I would learn here, and he has always been there to help me whenever I needed it. Just a very nice guy and a wonderful teacher.

Mr. Devers has the teaching spirit I would want in all of my teachers. He is informative, helpful, and a joy to be around. He manages to keep things light but still useful. When my friends and I joined our schools IT academy it was before Mr.C had come to our school. We had little expectations to learn anything and just wanted to mess around in the run down academy. Everything changed when Mr.C came to our school. The class was skeptical at first as we had gone through many unqualified teachers in a short amount of time but after just a short time with Mr.C we could see he was the real deal. Not only is Mr.C a great teacher he 's a great person that genuinely cares for his students. Our school's IT academy was a mess before Mr.C came but he has single handedly pulled it out of the grave and continues to work to improve it for the students.

Mr. Ceja is probably one of my favorite teachers, he always teaches us well, and makes it very enjoyable too, even through all of this distance learning due to covid, he too loves working in IT and teaching it to other future IT technicians or tech support.

He's super cool. He likes to have fun and he plays video games. And also he's just very smart and just wants to teach us the IT industry.

Jim Lumpkin tries his best to have hands-on stuff, but during Covid times its not easy. Since Covid, he's been doing memes and articles telling us what's going on in the world. He does a great way in teaching us new things.

Great work! Cares for his students and makes sure they succeed.

Mr. Lumpkin is very passionate about cybersecurity and teaches us things that affects our everyday lives online. He pushes us to do our best in TestOut so we can leave high school with the certifications we need.

She makes sure to help when you need it or ask for it. She's super sweet and has lots of school spirit, and she likes to talk to us students. She's not like other teachers that just help us with work and walk away, she likes having conversations.

She is very outgoing and smart.

Mrs. Austin is an amazing teacher and tries her best to help each and every one of us. She always goes the extra mile and never fails us. We also loveeee her jokes.

Ms. Austin is a really good teacher, she is really active with students and she helps us a lot! I'm glad I am able to have her as my teacher.

Ms. Austin is an exceptional teacher and she teaches us about Excel and Word in an easy and acceptable way. She is the reason why I know a lot about Excel and Word and she taught me things way beyond typing a document and changing font styles. She is all I could ever want in a teacher and she teaches me a lot about things and she is one of the most helpful teachers I have ever had.

She is a hard worker who wishes the best for all of her students and a lot of students a good majority of them enjoy her as a teacher. She also helped students and supplied them with study tests to help her students to pass the drivers written exam. test (also known as DMV test). Kristin Austin also enjoys helping her students and she has a really good positive outlook on everything thing which is really good for a workplace. She also is a very upbeat person which is a good thing for a teacher and her students. and she also upholds the school rules with dignity and honor.

Ms. Austin is always in a good mood and ready to teach her students amazing life skills that everyone needs. She makes sure we stay on track, stay focused, and make sure we understand whatever we are covering, even stuff we aren't covering. She always goes above and beyond, making sure her lessons are, yes, informative and studious, but also fun and engaging. She is always trying to better herself and her students so that we can succeed in life. There has never been a better teacher.
